Come and try one of our fun and easy Kangoo Dance classes guided by my friend and certified instructor Karla Yepez and watch your fitness level rise significantly in a short time. This class is taught in interval style and is suitable for all fitness levels.

Kangoo Jumps are contraindicated for pregnant women, people with heart or blood- pressure problems, people with balance issues and people with a current injury.

"Anyone with any condition or recovering from injury should consult with your doctor to make sure it's appropriate for them"

*The boots may help people with balance issues, but they need to consult with doctor as well.

Kangoo Jumps Safety Recommendations

Never has physical activity been so easy:

1 Wear comfortable, preferably thick, long socks covering the ankles and a high support sports bra.

2 Loosen the buckles, and tuck your foot into the inner boot. When your foot is properly in place, securely fasten the buckles for a snug, comfortable fit.

3 The first time you use Kangoo Jumps rebound shoes, stand up slowly. If necessary hold onto the back of a chair. You will quickly find your balance to maintain a stable upright position.

4 Begin by jogging in place, bouncing on one foot at a time. Place your weight in the center of the foot and not on the toes or heels. When standing still, for better balance, put your feet in a V shape, apart, one in front of the other.

Don’t push yourself too hard the first days. Work at an intensity best suited to your fitness level. Build up your level of activity gradually.

Don’t forget to drink water before, during and after the workout. A good rule of thumb is 3-4 ounces of water for every 15-20 minutes of exercise

As a safety measure, should any of these symptoms occur, the participant should stop the exercising and consult your doctor or trained health professional immediately.

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Loss of muscular control.

  • Sight disorder.

  • Dizzy spells.

  • Chest pain.

  • Sudden paleness.

  • White triangle in the mouth and nose area.

  • Unusually strong perspiration.

Don’t stop abruptly, sit down in the middle of the class or miss the cool down at the end of class.

Reducing the intensity, range of motion of the arms and the legs gradually and stretching will allow the heart rate to lower slowly avoiding blood pooling. When physical movement stops too quickly, body fluids drop into the lower extremities causing an oxygen deficit in the brain. This can lead to:

• Dizziness

• Lightheadedness

• Nausea

• Headache

• Blurred vision

• Numbness or tingling in the extremities

It is recommended not to perform any high impact movements for about 20 minutes after removing the rebound shoes. This is because the muscles need time to readjust to the natural pull of gravity in order to return back to their normal state.
